Villanueva -- Lorenzo Villanueva, age 22, beloved son, brother, and grandson was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Wednesday, December 12, 2001. Lorenzo was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Holy Rosary; and a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his loving mother, Stella D. Sanchez and Rick Mora; four brothers, John Sanchez and wife, Roxanne, Robert Sanchez, Paul Sanchez and wife, Carol, Christopher Contreras all of Albuquerque; two sisters, Rosa Wersonick and Steve Wersonick, Lorraine Storie and husband, Michael all of Albuquerque. Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Connie Bartlett; maternal grandfather, Ben Lovato; his girlfriend, Rena Garcia; several nieces, nephews, other relatives; and a host of friends. Lorenzo will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. A Rosary will be recited Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna NW. Casket bearers will be Chris Contreras, Paul, Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, John Sanchez, Steve Wersonick, Mike Storie and Rick Mora. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to family. Funeral services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street NW.
