Houston -- Lucille A. Houston, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1940, died Saturday, December 8, 2001. She was born in Sydney, Iowa on December 23, 1915. She worked as a seamstress and dry cleaner at several cleaning establishments around Albuquerque for over 50 years, not retiring until the age of 75. She was preceded in death by daughters, Sandy Otterbach, Lila Smith; and son, Mike Hiatt. She is survived by daughters, Doralee Armijo and husband, Lee, and Patience Dunkin all of Albuquerque; sister, Peggy Haney of Albuquerque; and sister-in-law, Barbara German of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Kathy Rice of Albuquerque, Tommy Otterbach of Los Angeles, CA, Terry Maine and husband, David, Tracy Greer, Kay Hettick and husband, Todd all of Albuquerque, Kim Barnes of Davie, Florida, Gary Mauldin and wife, Stewart of Moyock, North Carolina, Crystal Baum and husband, Al of Battle Mountain, Nevada, Vanita Mauldin of Hawthorn, Nevada, Michael Hiatt of Albuquerque, Shane Hiatt of San Diego, California; William"Billy" Armijo and wife, Michelle, Randy Armijo and wife, Pam all of Albuquerque, Michel Armijo of Longmont, Colorado, Mark Cumiford of Waycross Georgia; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. at Rio Grande Presbyterian Church, 600 Coors Blvd. NW, with Reverend Jean Thompson officiating.
