Fisher -- Carl R. Fisher Jr., passed away May 16, 2001. He was born February 9, 1929 in Temple, Texas. He was a carpet cleaning salesman and a veteran of the U.S.A.F. serving during the Korean War. Being a very talented artist, he loved to paint and he also enjoyed stock car racing. He is survived by four children; Carolyn Spence, Albuquerque, NM, Michael Fisher, Chattanooga, TN, Nancy Ward, Nashville, TN, and Merry Harwood of Albuquerque, NM, one sister; Sarah Sloan, Stillwater, OK, and seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by grandsons Rocky Ward and Sean Harwood and a granddaughter, Amy Spence. A memorial service will be held Monday, May 21, 2001 at 11:00 AM in The Chapel of Sandia, Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd., NE with pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
