Peterson -- Kathy Peterson, 58, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Wednesday, May 16, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jim Peterson of Albuquerque; sons, Jamey Peterson and wife, Tanya of Mountainair, and Stephen Peterson and fiancé, Dawn Covert of Estancia; father, Walter Meyer; brother, Daniel Meyer and wife, Nancy, both of Farmington; sister, Diane Parker and husband, Ed of Gallup; brother, Wally Meyer and wife, Sue Jean of Farmington; brother-in-law, David Peterson of Albuquerque; and sister-in-law, Shirley Williams and husband, Lindy of Eagle Nest, NM. She formerly was head of the Albuquerque Art Association. Kathy will be remembered by all that loved her as an exceptionally talented artist having owned two galleries and taught hundreds of students in the Albuquerque area.
