Weinreb -- Anna Weinreb died March 7, 2001 at a local hospital. This great, courageous lady, loved and admired by many, was born in Krakow, Poland, 95 years ago. Anna survived concentration camps during World War II. From 1950 she resided in Albuquerque and was a member of the Congregation B'Nai Israel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Veston and is survived by her nephew, Sam Urbach, of Houston; her niece, Anita Obryk, of Krakow, Poland; and special friends, Zofia and Andrzej Pastuszyn. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2001 at the Congregation B'Nai Israel Section of Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, 700 Yale SE. with Rabbi Isaac Celnik reciting. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is handling her arrangements.
