Martinez -- Manuel Martinez, 90, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, died on Thursday, July 19, 2001. He is survived by his two grandchildren, Mark Martinez and wife, Ann, Bernadine Martinez and Richard Sandoval, two great-grandchildren, Heather Martinez and Ryan Martinez. He was preceded in death by his son, Raul (Rudy) Martinez. Manuel was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. He retired from the Lumber Mill in Bernalillo in 1973. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 23, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 9500 Paseo del Norte N.E. with, Deacon Bob Lewis, officiating. French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E.
