Capute -- Barbara Yaeko Capute, 81, died Tuesday, October 2, 2001. Born in Tokyo, Japan, Barbara came to the United States in 1954 with her husband, John and daughter, Bobbie. As the wife of a career military man and the mother of three, Barbara spent the next twenty-one years moving from one army post to the next throughout the U.S. until finally settling down in Albuquerque in 1975. Barbara came to love her adopted country and one of the happiest moments in her life was when she received her citizenship in 1977. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1978. She is survived by daughter, Bobbie , son, David and his wife, Sheila, grandsons Joshua and Brenden all of Albuquerque, NM, and son John of Atlanta, GA.
