Swain -- Joyce Swain, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, January 9, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Frances E. Herod; grandson, Thomas Bradshaw, both of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Kristine Presler of Chico, CA; five grandchildren; and three sisters, Carol Packard of Echo, OR, Sally Hawkins of Vancouver, WA and Charlotte Morehouse of Albuquerque. Mrs. Swain was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Swain, one grandson, and two sisters. She was a member of V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens Center. Cremation has taken place and interment of cremains will take place Friday, 11:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Kent Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UNM Cancer Center Program Development, 900 Camino de Salud NE, 87131. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
