Amirault -- Lorraine D. Amirault, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for four years, died on Tuesday, January 9, 2001. She is survived by her sons, Harold Amirault and wife, Diane of Chicago, IL and Fred Amirault of Albuquerque; sister, Bernice Harrison of Carlsbad, NM and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Amirault, Sr. Lorraine worked at Motel 6 for over two years. She was also a member of the Hoffmantown Church and involved with the tape ministries through Community Bible Study. Services will be held on Friday, January 12, 2001, 10:00 a.m. at Hoffmantown Church, 8888 Harper Road NE. Duran -- Jose Duran, 89, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, January 10, 2001. Mr. Duran retired from Duke City Lumber. He was preceded in death by his wife, Della, and is survived by his sons, Rudy Duran and wife, Mary and Joey Duran; daughters, Lilly Ramirez and Marcella Sedillo and her husband, Mike; stepchildren, Chris Montoya and wife Betty, Ruth Chavez of CA. Frost -- Edna (Mae) Frost, 87, a 19-year Albuquerque resident, died Wednesday, January 10, 2001. She is survived by her son, Dale Frost; grandson, Randy Frost; great grandsons, Brett and Rory Thomas and Conner Frost, all of Albuquerque; sisters-in-law, Mildred Tingle of Cedar Rapids, IA and Gracie Mae Clark of Centerville, IA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmont Frost in 1960, her parents, Reuben and Florence Tingle, brother, Ernest Tingle, and sisters, Alice Coates and Ethel Seeley. Mrs. Frost was a 1930 graduate of Mystic High School in Mystic, IA, and she attended Jackson Business College in Chillicothe, MO. She had lived most of her live in Iowa prior to moving to Albuquerque. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd, NE. Garcia -- Candelaria G. Garcia, 91, passed away on January 10, 2001 in Albuquerque, NM. She was a lifelong resident of Carnuel, NM. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by a son, Ray Candelaria and by her husband, Emilio J. Garcia. She is survived by her children, Estevan Garcia and wife Natalia and Molly Griego and husband Ted, all of Carnuel; her brother, Andres Garcia of Carnuel; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Jaramillo -- Robert Joe "Butch" Jaramillo, 41, went home to the Lord on January 9, 2001. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Christopher Jaramillo. He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla Jaramillo; and granddaughter, Maria Angelica Huerta; brothers, Art Mora and wife, Jeanette, Rudy Mora and wife, Joan, Michael Jaramillo and wife, Della; sisters, Connie Tafoya, Linda Romero and husband, Louie, and Annadina. Lanigan -- Margaret Alcy (Kendall) Lanigan, a resident of Bend, OR, passed away in Bend on January 7, 2001 after A short illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Albuquerque, N.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2001. Daniel Kendall, S.J., Margaret's nephew, will officiate. Margaret was born in Globe, Ariz., to Anna Margaret and Daniel Kendall on January 28, 1913. She and husband Richard were residents of Albuquerque until 1977 when they retired to Riverton, WY. Margaret moved from Riverton to Carbondale, Il. after Richard's death in 1992. Margaret attended nursing school at St. Vincent's Hospital in Los Angeles. She transferred to St. Joseph's Nursing School in Denver, CO. in 1934 where she received her RN degree. After nursing six years at St. James Hospital in Butte, Mont., Margaret entered St. Louis University on a fellowship where she earned her B.S. in Nursing in 1943. After raising her family, she re-entered nursing in 1966 and retired from Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque in 1976. Margaret is survived by her son, Richard of Carbondale, Ill. and his sons, James and Robert; daughter, Franke' of Bend, Ore. and her sons, Timothy and Matthew; son, Michael and his wife, Donna of Albuquerque and their daughters, Kendall and Caitlin; and son, Timothy of Medford, Ore. and his sons, Patrick and Thomas. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and brother, Robert. The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers be made to the Capuchin Franciscan Order, 1345 Cortez Avenue, Burlingame, Calif. 94010. Mannon -- Catherine R. Mannon, 47, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away January 8, 2001.¯ She was a teacher and worked from 1975 to 1989 in the school system of the Archdiocese of Newark; from 1991 to 1996 in the school systems of the Albuquerque Public School; from 1996 to 1997 in the Community School System of Laguna, New Mexico, and from 1997 to the present with the Los Lunas Public School Systems. Catherine also did special projects at Los Alamos Laboratory, and was in the graduate program at the University of New Mexico.¯ She was preceded in death by her father Edward W. Korek, and is survived by her mother Marion Korek; brothers Edward R. Korek, John M, Korek, and Joseph J. Mcbride -- Benito McBride, 76, a resident of Estancia, NM, died on Sunday, January 7, 2001. He is survived by his children, Donna Torres of San Bernadino, CA, Dennis McBride of San Quentin, CA, Renee Hall and husband, Mike of Santa Cruz, CA, Antoinette Caraway of San Jose, CA, Jackie Ramer and husband, Karl of Estancia, NM and Rusty McBride of Albuquerque, NM; as well as step-daughters, Rebecca Robinett and Deborah Robinett of Albuquerque; also surviving are grandchildren, Thomas Torres, David Torres, Donovan Hall, Arielle Hall, Alex Hall, Trenton Caraway, Justin Ramer, Catarina Ramer, Jennie Cox, Mary Cox, Vicki Pacheco, Michelle Marquez, and Alex Buxton; as well as six great-grandchildren. Born in Cubero, NM on May 1, 1924 to Donaciano and Domitilia Arvizo McBride, he was the oldest of six children. He was preceded in death by Norma McBride, his wife of 38 years, and by his son, Benny McBride and his sister, Lucy Tafoya. A veteran of the Merchant Marines, he served during WWII. He was the Water Superintendent for Grants, NM for three years. Interment will take place at the Grants, NM Cemetery on Saturday, January 13, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Sunrise Society of New Mexico is serving the family of Mr. McBride. (891-8200)

Moore -- Edward Charles Moore, born November 22, 1933 in Clinton, Iowa and formerly of Chicago, IL, died at home on Monday, January 8, 2001. His parents, James C. and Helen I. Moore preceded him. Edward served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1955 and received Bachelor and Master Degrees from the University of Chicago. He retired from the Illinois Cook County School System in 1994 after 26 years as a middle school teacher and moved to Albuquerque in 1998. Edward was also an avid motocyclist. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; daughter, Anna (by a previous marriage) of Chicago; two brothers; two nieces; four nephews; and five grandnieces and grandnephews. Murray -- Jimmy "Jim" Ray Murray, 54, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 18 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2001. Jim was born July 9, 1946 the son of Jack and Esther Reifschneider Murray in Dodge City, Kansas. Jim came to New Mexico from Hutchinson, Kansas where he grew up. Rose -- Elva L. Rose was born February 2, 1916 in Cass, AK and died January 4, 2001 in Aiea, Hawaii after a long struggle with Alzheimers. She was a longtime resident of Albuquerque and is survived by her sister, Erma Pinion; her son, Morris Rose; her daughter, Martha Wilson; two grandsons who are ministers, Timothy and Paul Wilson; and seven great-grandchildren. Elva retired from the Albuquerque Library system. She was a devoted mother and worked as a volunteer in church work for over 60 years. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Fair View Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM where her parents, Earnest and Janie Pinion and brother, Harold Pinion are buried.

Russo -- Joseph T. Russo, a resident of Albuquerque since 1999, died January 9, 2001. He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada July 18, 1977. Joseph was a loving son, had served in the US Marine Corps and was a student at ITT. Sullenger -- We lost a great man with a great life," his daughter, Diane Tietjen wrote. William "Bill" Sullenger, 92, peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday, January 11, 2001. A country farmer of Jarales, NM since 1979 and formerly of Gallup, NM. He was a member of the Sierra Vista First Baptist Church in Belen. Bill was an avid farmer, planting anything, anywhere he felt a need for something to grow. He was well known in the different counties for his growing abilities, even in Gallup where he planted corn stalks in the street median. His infant granddaughter, Terri Lynn Sullenger, preceded him in death. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Napon of the family home; five children, Carolyn Cresto and her husband, Johnny; Frances Polich and her husband, Tony; Bill Sullenger and his wife, Adelle; Lieu Sullenger and his wife, Brenda, all of Gallup, NM; and Diane and her husband, Ted Tietjen of Jarales; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one very special nephew, Jimmy Sullenger and his wife, Wanda of Mountainair, NM. Swain -- Joyce Swain, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, January 9, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Frances E. Whiteman -- Mildred Eunice, long time resident of Albuquerque passed away Saturday January 6, 2001 after a brief illness. She was born October 18, 1920 to Paul and Manuela Hapke. Her father Paul was a career Naval Officer. Mildred's early childhood experiences included accompanying her parents to Haiti where Paul was stationed for several years. Her early education was provided by her mother using the then popular Calvert System. A degree was awarded by the University of Wisconsin in 1943. After graduation, she worked for several government agencies including the General Accounting Office in Washington, D. C. Where she met and married Marks Whiteman. She is survived by a son, Mark Andrew of Raytown, MO; sister, Eileen Thoubboron of Pittsfield, MA; stepdaughter, Lois Frick of Potomac, MD; stepson, James Whiteman of this city; one nephew, John Thoubboron and several nieces. Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at 11:30 a.m. Santa Fe National Cemetery, with the Reverend Lars Hamerson officiating. Cremains will be interred with her beloved husband Marks.
