Petti -- Thomas Joseph Petti, 43, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2001. Tom was born May 7, 1958 the son of Ralph J. and Lena G. Forgione Petti in Newark, New Jersey. He was employed at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Los Lunas in Q.A. Tom was a Marshal at Tierra Del Sol Country Club, a master bowler and golfer, a fan of the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. He loved the outdoors and was kind hearted and dearly loved. Many lives were touched by his courageous battle with cancer. Tom will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Tom is survived by two daughters, Christina Petti and Alyse Petti both of Rahway, NJ; two sisters, Carol Pagliaro and husband, Michael and their children, Christopher, Gina, and Matthew of Brick, NJ, and Eileen Ferraro and husband, Marty of Albuquerque; one brother, Ralph Petti and wife, Marie and their children, Robert and Laura of Basking Ridge, NJ; and his fiancee and loving companion, Nancy Groessl of Albuquerque. The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 4000 ST. Joseph Pl. NW, Albuquerque, NM with The Rev. Frank Prieto as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Marty Ferraro, Ralph Petti, Michael Pagliaro, John Branson, Jaime Mehia, and Matthew Bouska.
