Dailey -- Mr. Wayne A. Dailey Sr., 83, a resident of New Laguna, New Mexico passed away on February 28, 2001. Mr. Dailey is the beloved husband of 54 years to Mrs. Eleanor Dailey; he is also survived by his daughters, Georgia Pedro and Opal Bowman and husband, Timothy; one sister, Daisey Maria; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one uncle, Charles Dailey; six nieces; two nephews; many other cousins and friends. Mr. Dailey is preceded in death by his son, Wayne A. Dailey Jr. Mr. Dailey served as a member Elder and officer at the Casa Blanca Presbyterian Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II, served on the Local A..A..R. P. Board, participated in the Senior Olympics and was a recent resident at the Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center. A Prayer Service/Wake Service will be held Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the family home in New Laguna. Visitaiton will be at the family after 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Casa Blanca Presbyterian Church in Casa Blanca, NM with Rev. David Preininger and Randy Pence officiating. Interment will follow at the Casa Blanca Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Gregory Dailey, Jeffrey Dailey, Ryan Dailey, Melinda Bowman, Timothy Bowman, Lloyd Dailey and Loren Maria; Honorary will be Charles Dailey, Louis Dailey Jr., Andrew Ondelacy, Jack Ondelacy and Pete Garcia. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW in charge of the arrangements.
