Barnes -- Erna H. Barnes, age 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946 died March 11, 2003. Survivors include her husband, Chester (Chet) Barnes of Albuquerque; daughter, Erna Lee Widgren and husband, Robert of Albuquerque; son, Richard Barnes and wife, Sherry of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Sheila Lee and husband, Mark of Illinois. The family wishes to extend a thank you to the staff at Manor Care Camino Vista and Lovelace Hospice. A special thank you to Johnny Rich for his support. Viewing and visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2003 in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary with Mr. Larry Pierson officiating. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
