Montoya -- Flora Florinda Montoya, 74, a resident of Los Lunas and formally of Pueblitos, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolfo and Lucia Montano; her brother, Adolfo Montano, Jr.; her sister, Cleo Gutierrez; her three sons, Robert Morris, John (Fitz), and Floyd Montoya; and one daughter, Mary Alice Montoya. Flora is survived by her five children, Mary J. Gurule and Ben Montoya, both of Los Lunas, Vincent Montoya of Albuquerque, Diane Barela and her husband, Joseph of La Joya, NM, and Annette Montoya of Los Lunas; her two brothers, Delfin Montano and his wife, Lucy of California, and Arsenio Montano of Albuquerque; two sisters, Nora Carrasco and her husband, Albert and Rose Lemus and her husband, Richard, both of California. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church starting with a viewing on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will then take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Shawn Padilla, Benjamin, Benardo, Samuel, and Thomas Montoya, and Joseph Barela Jr. Honorary Pallbearer will be Christopher Romero.
