Garcia -- Mr. Alfonso (Sito) J. Garcia died Thursday, February 13, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 58. Mr. Garcia is survived by his mother, Mary Anaya; wife, Emily Garcia, of Albuquerque; stepchildren, Evelyn Ozaeta, Ronnie Bernal, Christine Alba and husband, Abe, Larry Bernal, all of California, Gilbert Saldana, and Rose Ann De Herrera and husband, Gerald, of Albuquerque; brother, George Garcia and wife, Olivia; sister, Mary Valadez and husband, Arthur, all of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Funeral Services for Mr. Garcia will be held on Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rigo Martinez, Frank Garcia, Arthur Valadez, Orlando Lopez, Gilbert Saldana, and Bobby Lugo. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernie Lopez, Robert Lopez, Stephen Lopez, Larry Bernal, Pula Sandoval and Tom Wassmann. A Rosary for Mr. Garcia will be recited on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. at St. Francis Church. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
