Lucero -- Steve Benino Lucero, 44, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Lucero; daughter, Stephanie Lucero; nana; Lucinda Lucero; parents, Trinnie and Valerio Lucero, all of Albuquerque; brother, Rick Lucero and wife, Liz of Kansas City, KS; sisters, Diane Farrell and husband, Jack of Tome, NM and Valerie Romero and husband, Greg of Albuquerque; nieces and nephews, Missy, Vanessa, Ryan, Gregory and Jared; and many other family and friends. A prayer service will be held Friday, 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Joe Williams officiating, followed by a rosary recited by Steve's parents, Trinnie and Valerio Lucero. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW, with Father Manuel Viera, OFM, Celebrant and Deacon Santos Abeyta assisting. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
