Vorhees -- Harold Guy Vorhees, age 87, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, January 23, 2003. He was born on July 16, 1915 to Raymond and Mabel Vorhees in St. Mary's, Ohio. His wife, Dorothy, daughter, Wendy Lippold; and son-in-law, John Lippold; a niece and nephew, Vicky Vacchiano and Donald Vorhees of Dayton Ohio; and four great-nieces and nephews survive him. Harold graduated from Eaton High School, Eaton, Ohio and began a long-term 43-year employment with Mobil Oil Co. Interrupted by three years in the military during World War II. He attended Washington University in St. Louis. His last assignment was Human Resources director for Mobil's European operations. While in London, he and his wife were one of the organizers of the American Church in London, a non-denominational church for Americans abroad. He moved to Albuquerque in 1975 upon his retirement. Family Graveside Services will be held at Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights Ohio.
