Burns -- Mary F. Burns, age 82, died on January 10, 2003 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Coalwood, West Virginia to Willet and Ella Freer Searles. She moved from Roswell to Albuquerque in 1995. She was a Presbyterian and 50 year charter member of P.E.O. of Albuquerque and member of Reach to Recovery. As a private individual, she enjoyed reading, was an amateur gardener with roses her passion, and liked to travel the world, especially the Far East and Europe. Her husband, Robert H. Burns and a son, Bruce A. Burns, preceded her in death. Mrs. Burns is survived by sons, Robert A. Burns and wife, Sharon of Washington and William R. Burns and wife, Vicki of Albuquerque; sister, Anah Roberts of Santa Rosa, CA; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sandia with Pastor John Embry officiating.
