Branch -- Rita Baca Branch, age 80, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Friday, January 3, 2003 in Torrance, CA. Rita was born in Santa Rosa, NM to the late Atanacio and Maria Baca; and was a resident of Torrance, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry L. Branch. She is survived by her loving children, Royce Branch and wife Maureen, and Kathy White and husband, Mark; three granddaughters, Lori Branch, Traci Branch, and Lisa Hughey; and two great-grandsons, Jacob and Zachary Hughey all of California. Also surviving are two brothers, Manuel Baca and wife, Portana, Louie Baca and wife, Rosalie both of Albuquerque; three sisters, Celina (Sally) Aragon, Natalie Chavez both of Albuquerque, and Mellie Woffard and husband, Tracy of Grants, NM; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rita will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; and from 6:00 p.m. till the time of Rosary at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where the rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Casket bearers will be Richard Aragon, Gregory Aragon, Eddie Branch, Randy Baca, Edward Chavez, and Alfred Chavez.
