Silva -- Librado Silva, 62, born and raised in Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord on December 31, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Cruz Silva of Albuquerque; 2 sons, Lee Silva and wife, Michelle of Albuquerque, Matthew Silva of Denver, CO; 2 daughters, Michelle Sproles and husband, Wayne of Denver, CO, Melissa Monroe and husband, Myles of Atlanta, GA; 3 stepchildren, Maggie Young of Los Lunas, NM, Theresa Leyba of Portland, OR and Rick Leyba and wife, Veronica of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Danielle, Raquel and Gabrielle Silva, Rachel, Briana and Courtney Sproles, Matthew and Amanda Monroe. Librado is also survived by 2 sisters, Lydia Madden and husband, Denny of Oceanside, CA and Patsy Evans of Carson City, NV and many dear friends. Librado was a loving, generous father. He had an unsurpassed hospitality for others and will be missed by all who knew him. He worked for the FAA for 35 years and retired in October 2002. Friends may visit French Mortuary Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE on Sunday, January 5, 2003 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. Service will take place on Monday, January 6, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna NE. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by French Mortuary.
