Griffin -- Sharon Griffin died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at the age of 46. Sharon was very active with Healthcare for the Homeless. She loved the people she worked with and never forgot where she came from. She is survived by her father, Gene Griffin Sr., Rose Griffin; brother, Gene Griffin Jr.; niece, Jenais Griffin; and all of her family at Healthcare for the Homeless. Memorial Services for Sharon will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations of socks. Through her work, Sharon came to realize how important it is and saw to it that everyone to have a good pair of new socks. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
