Thompson -- Randy Thompson. After a lengthy and courageous battle with heart disease he passed peacefully to be with the Lord on March 23, 2003. He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Thompson; father, Ruben Thompson and wife, Rhoda; son, Gabriel Thompson; longtime girlfriend, Susie Gonzales; brother, Dale Thompson and wife, Karen; sister, Ana Thompson; he is also survived by his grandmother, Sally Chacon and preceded in death by his grandfather, Ted Chacon. He is also survived by his aunt, Juliette Martinez and Sam Pacheco; his uncle, Ted Chacon and wife, Linda. He is also survived by his cousins, Matisse Martinez and husband Jeff Popenoe, Monique Sanchez and husband, Gerald, Michael Martinez and Leonella Martinez; and one nephew, Robert Thompson. He will be dearly missed by many. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2003 in Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2003 at St. Charles Borromeo 1818 Coal Pl. SE with Fr. Robert A. Chabot S.S.S., Celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Sam Pacheco, Dean Alcantor, Kulbir Puri, Matisse Martinez, Monique Sanchez and Abbie Ann Portio.
