Zamora -- Jessie D. Zamora, age 85, beloved mother, grandmother and sister was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Tuesday, April 1, 2003 while surrounded by her loving family. Jessie was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Jessie loved going to Mass and to church functions when ever she could; but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eloy O. Zamora; a son, Jose Luis (Louie) Zamora; and a grandson, Jimmy B. Roybal, Jr. She is survived by her loving children, Lillian V. Roybal and husband Jim, Juanita Griego, Eloy Zamora and wife Tomie; ten precious grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are six sisters, Mary Lopez, Josie Villanuvea and husband Fermin, Annie Apodaca, Genvieve Ortega and husband Ted, Margaret Munoz and husband Jose and Stella Gonzales. Jessie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd., NW. Final viewing will be Friday prior to the Mass, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the church; followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Mrs. Zamora's grandchildren, Lynda Griego, Regina Martinez, Jennie Zamora, Jesse Zamora, Carlos Zamora and Nick Martinez.
