Flynt -- Jim D. Flynt (Buddy) Born in Albuquerque September 18, 1949, called home by God April 2, 2003. Jim passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident April 1, 2003. Our beloved Jim was the first son of Mary E. and Jim F. Flynt. Jim joined the USAF in 1968 and was a decorated veteran of the Viet Nam war serving as an airborne communications intercept operator gathering vital enemy intelligence and targeting information. After honorable discharge from the AF he returned home to his beloved NM where he attended Albuquerque TVI and graduated with a perfect GPA of 4.0 in electronics. He went to work in the electronics field but became involved in union politics on the side of the underdogs which cost him his career in that field. He then embarked on a number of startup companies the last of which is Estancia Valley Mobile Homes, LLC. He was very active in the East Mountain Communities working to provide affordable housing alternatives to low income families. Jim was very much a people person and was completely at home with everyone from the average person on the street to the former Governor of NM Bruce King. Jim was a dedicated and loving father and grandfather and the sun rose and set on his son, daughters and grand babies.
