Rollag -- Ole J. Rollag, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years, died Thursday, April 3, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Buddy Rollag of Albuquerque; sons, Mark D. Rollag and wife, Virginia Johnson of Chevy Chase MD and Tom Rollag of Anthony, NM; grandsons, Benjamin Rollag of Albuquerque and Ole Rollag and wife, Catherine; great-grandson, Nicklos Rollag, all of Luxembourg; and sister, Avis Lovro and husband, Stan of Sioux Falls, SD. Dr. Rollag was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Dr. Rollag practiced Veterinary Medicine for 30 years, and was selected twice for the New Mexico Veterinarian of the Year. He built Blue Cross, Sandia and Manzano Animal Clinic. Dr. Rollag served on the New Mexico State Public Health Veterinarian for nine years and was Executive Director of the New Mexico Veterinarian Examining Board for seven years. He was very active in the Local, State and National Veterinary Associations, was a past member of Coronado Toastmasters, Elks Club, Albuquerque Rotary Club and the Lions Club. Dr. Rollag was past President of the Four Hills Country Club. Ballut Abyad Shrine and Duke City Bridge Club. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, with Pastor Patricia Holman officiating.
