Park -- Connie Garcia Park, died Tuesday, May 20, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 84. Mrs. Park is preceded in death by two sons, David Garcia and Robert Garcia; and husband, Arturo Garcia. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. Mrs. Park is survived by her four children, Margarita Trujillo of Albuquerque, Irene Smith of New York, Gilbert Garcia and wife, Suzanna of Dallas, Texas and Helen Chavez and husband, John of Albuquerque; sister, Guadalupe La Flore and husband, Daniel of Albuquerque; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great - great-grandchild. Funeral Services for Mrs. Park will be held on Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
