Mccarley -- William Doyle McCarley, a 49-year resident of Albuquerque (formerly of Quemado), passed from this life on May 16, 2003. He was born on May 10, 1932 near Grannis, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan Crume McCarley of Albuquerque; daughters, Rhonda McCarley of Edmond, OK and Elaine Shultz and husband, Robert of Willis Point, Tx; seven adoring grandchildren, Jay, Joyce, Les and Matt Yeich, all of Edmond, OK, and Jessie, Larney and Kellie Shultz, all of Willis Point, TX; sister, Faye Walters and husband, Gerald of Grannis, AR; brother, Gordon McCarley of Mena, AR; and many nieces and nephews. Doyle was a multi talented man. He was a horseman, storyteller, woodsman, construction worker and heavy equipment operator. For 43 years he was employed as a transit mix driver for Albuquerque Gravel Products, later known as Cal Mat. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating the legacy of his life will be held at a later time at his birthplace in Arkansas.
