Lopez -- Dolores Lopez, a native New Mexican born April 16, 1913 died at home on May 20, 2003. She resided in Albuquerque with her eldest daughter Margaret Lopez and Margaret's adopted son, Raymond Lopez. She is survived by her son, Thomas H. Lopez and wife Dixie; daughters, Margaret Lopez, Frances Buenconsejo, Angie Bahrmann and husband, Ronald, Alberta Willett and husband Fred; brother, Raymond Blea; sisters, Margie McKenzie and Jenny Sanchez; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Lopez; sons, Fred Henry Lopez and Louis E. Lopez. Dolores was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She stated her wise words of wisdom on her 90th birthday when she said"In the end it comes down to love. It is who you love and how you love that matters." Dolores will be missed by her family and friends and in the end she will be honored by their devotion, respect, and never ending love, which will prove that her 90 years of life were not in vain. She will be remembered in each sunset when you see the vibrant colors of red setting in the west. A rosary will recited on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. S.W. Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Catholic Community, 8901 Candelaria Rd. N.E. Interment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lino Buenconsejo, Louis Buenconsejo, Fred Willett, Ronald J. Bahrmann Jr., Michael Bahrmann, Keith Speis and Ted Kozacki.
