Fiedler -- Linda Jane, 55, a resident of the Mid Valley Airpark of Los Lunas, New Mexico for over 30 years, died with her fiance, David Marshall of Alamogordo, in a plane crash on Sunday, May 25, 2003 in Los Lunas. Linda was an extraordinarily active community member in the Los Lunas area and participated in the Belen Christian Church, the Valencia County Extension Club, the AM chapter of P.E.O., the Mid Valley Airpark Women's Association, and the Los Lunas High School Band Boosters. For many years, she was the president of Mountainview Corporation, a security and answering service in Los Lunas. More recently, she was employed at the Comfort Inn in Los Lunas and was selected as 2002 Desk Clerk of the Year from several inns throughout the Southwest. She was a model Christian, a devoted mother and a generous and loving daughter, sister, friend and neighbor. She brought a smile to the faces of those around her, and she will be deeply missed by those who were touched by her love and kindness. Her father, Richard W. King; and her husband, Gary J. Fiedler, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons:, Jeremy C. Fiedler and his wife, Annette of Los Lunas, as well as Ryan B. Fiedler of Los Lunas; by her mother, Wilma J. King of Artesia, NM; by three brothers, Bill A. King and his wife, Patsy of Roswell, NM, Bob E. King and his wife, Teresa of Roswell, and Jim R. King and his wife, Tia Turner of Albuquerque, NM; and also by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, located at 1100 Coal SE in Albuquerque, NM. Interment Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2003 at Terrace Grove Cemetery, 1200 Aragon Rd. in Belen, NM. Contributions to Linda's favorite charities will be collected by the Belen Christian Church, 11th and Dillon, Belen, NM 87002.
