Moseley -- Nellie Hazel Moseley, 93, a resident of New Mexico since 1928, died Sunday, July 27, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Doris Morris and husband, J. C., of Edgewood; son, Orris H. Moseley and wife, Audrey of Albuquerque; daughter Gwen Van Doren of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Gayland, Mike, Pat and Bill Morris, Joyce Sweeney, Nell Prekker, and Jerri Rose, David, Gary and Kevin Van Doren; 22 great- grandchildren; 11 great- great- grandchildren; sisters, Leona Stark and Freda McDowell; brother, Roy Moseley and wife, Ruby; sisters-in-law, Ada Moseley and Doris Moseley and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moseley was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Herman I Moseley in 1996, grandsons Joe Morris and Larry Don Van Doren; brothers, Don Moseley, Okle Moseley and Bunyan Moseley, and son-in-law, LeRoy Van Doren. She was a member of Fruit Avenue Baptist Church for many years and a member of Homemakers Home Extension Club. Nellie settled with her family and helped pioneer the Estancia Valley. She spent many years in Albuquerque working side by side with her husband. Services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2003, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., with Pastor George Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
