Mitchell -- Ruth Irene Jackson Mitchell, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, formerly of Greeley, CO died August 20, 2003 peacefully at home. Her husband, Robert preceded her in death in 1976; and daughter, Dottie Norris in 2000; also by her parents, Charles and Opal Jackson; and siblings, Anna and Cecil Jackson. Ruth moved to Albuquerque in 1981 and shared a home with daughter, Barbara. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Ruth Mitchell of Albuquerque; and grandson, Mike Wolfe wife, Julie, and great granddaughter Tasha, of Tijeras, NM; and great-grandson, Christopher Wolfe of Irvine, CA; sister, Nelle and husband, Carl of Edmund, OK, Margaret Wood of Delta, CO, Dorothy Watson of Plateville, CO, Helen Moss of Flagler, CO; sister-in-law, Leda Palser of Evans, CO; and extended families. With deepest love and respect for Ruth's wishes, her body was donated to UNM School of Medicine. No Memorial Service will be held. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky to know her.
