Brown -- Lyman Milton Brown, 83, passed away Friday, August 15, 2003 after a two year battle with cancer."Milt" was born on December 22, 1919 in Lynn County, Kansas to Clarence and Gladys Brown. He was on of four children. Milt led an active life. He served in both WWII and Korea as a Navy pilot, he farmed in Kansas and sold building products in New Mexico. He finally retired at age 78 from Los Altos Gold Course in Albuquerque. An avid pilot and member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, he built and flew a Rose Parakeet Biplane. He flew planes until his early seventies. Milt was always known as the guy to go to if you wanted anything made or fixed. He will surely find many projects to work on in Heaven. Milt is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary; son, Michael and wife, Susan; brother, Maurice (Cy); sister, Lela Jean; step grandson, Chris Long and his wife and children. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Presbyterian Health Care Foundation, PO Box 26666, 87125.
