Walters -- Jerry Walters, born October 3, 1930, passed away early Tuesday morning at home with his family by his side after a courageous fight with cancer. Jerry owned and operated Jerry Walters Painting Co. in Albuquerque for 53 years. He was an extremely hardworking individual who took an enormous amount of pride in his work and respected his employees. At home, he was the quintescential family man who always put the needs of his family in front of his own. His warmth and generosity touched everyone who crossed his path. Jerry is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Walters; his daughters, Diane Cook, Pamela Loveland and husband Tom, and Terri Walters; and his grandchildren Garrett and Kyle Cook, Brean Lackey, and Kaeleigh and Ryan Loveland. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
