Cleland -- Roy G. Cleland, age 61, died Friday, March 29, 2003 in Albuquerque. He is preceeded in death by his daughter, Peppi Jean Cleland. He is survived by his wife, Delmarie Cleland of Albuquerque; daughter, Julie Novak and husband, Tom of Leavenworth, KS; and son, Curt Cleland of MO. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Robyn, Samantha, Nicholas, Whitney, Adam, and Ashley; brothers and sisters, Alice Dollard, Ruby McCowan, Sheldeen Perkins and husband, Dennis, Mickey Jones and wife, Sandy, and Harry Jones; and numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins. Roy was an active coach of little league football for many years and a passionate farmer who loved animals. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held in Kansas at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Animal Humane Society.
