Payne -- Rubinelle Polk Payne, 89, died on March 28, 2003 in Albuquerque. She was born in Rotan, TX to Zade and Mame Gardner Polk. In 1985 she moved to Albuquerque from Roswell. While in Roswell, she was a member of the Methodist Church and longtime member of Roswell Country Club. She loved watching her grandson's sporting events. Mrs. Payne was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel J. Payne in 2002; and a sister, Sterlyn Hubbard. She is survived by her daughter, Dianna Ottmann and husband, James of Albuquerque; brother, Charles R. Polk and wife, Kay of Loving, NM; two grandchildren, Tim Ottmann and wife, Angela of Denver, CO and Danny Ottmann and wife, Tracie; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Ottmann and Casey, Jake and Karli Ottmann; and a niece, Glynnie H. Galles and her children, Teri Bryan, Tracee Dezzutti and Tim Galles. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
