SAIZ, MAX G. Max G. Saiz born December 28, 1940 from Manzano, NM to Magalina Turrietta and Vicente Saiz. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather departed his life on Monday, March 2, 2015 at UNM Hospital. He was preceded in death by his daughter Rita and son Wecee Saiz; parents Magalina and Vicente Saiz; brother Joe Saiz; mother-in-law Jackie Gabaldon; brother and sister- in-law Elane and Ralph Gabaldon, Jr. and nephew Jaycob Gabaldon. Max worked as a Mason for many years. His hobbies included fishing, caring for his garden and selling fire wood; he was loved by everyone who knew him. Max is survived by wife of 53 years, Gloria Gabaldon-Saiz; children Denise and Gilbert Cabrera, Linda Saiz and Max Saiz, Jr.; grandchildren Alice and Chris Castaneda, Amanda Saiz, Lil Gilbert Cabrera, Ryian Saiz and Lorenzo Poggio; great-grandchildren Damon, Christopher, Izaiaha, Joziah, Audrey and Nathaniel. His pets Chico, Gus and Pancho Villa. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 5:00pm-6:00pm; Rosary to follow at 6:00pm at St. Theresa Church 300 Mildred Ave. NW Abq, NM 87107. Mass will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 9:00am at St. Theresa Church with Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith NE Abq, NM 87102.
