MISENER, CORAL JEAN was born July 23, 1936 in Denver, Colorado to Gladys and Edward Steenbergen, and died Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Belen, New Mexico. Coral will be remembered for her love and devotion for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling and being in the outdoors surrounded by those she loved. Coral married Milford Misener in 1952. She was a devoted pastor's wife supporting both the churches to whom they ministered and leading in education for children of all ages. As well, she served in our state Baptist convention in several capacities. Coral was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her son, Randy and her grandson, Garrett. She is survived by her beloved husband, Milford; her children, Chari Ritchie and husband Jerry, Gary Misener and wife Susan, Denise Gleason and husband Paul; daughter-in-law, Liddy Rymarz-Misener; brother-in-law, Phil Misener; grandchildren, Jana and Anne Misener and Chelsea Ritchie; many nieces, nephews and numerous treasured friends. We all loved and will miss Coral greatly. Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Belen, 401 Becker Ave. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Pastor John Loudat officiating.
