ROSS, STEPHEN A. 8/12/41 1/8/15 A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away after a long fight with Alzheimer's, January 8th 2014 at age 73. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda J. Ross; sons Lance and his wife Elaine Ross, Shane and wife Jammie Ross; grandchildren Shilah Ross, Lance J.R and wife Daniela Ross, Kassidy Ross, McKenzie Ross; great-grandchild Matthew Stephen Ross; sister Carol and husband Elmo Haney and brother John and wife Pam Ross. Stephen was preceded in death by his father and mother Clyde and Harriet Mae Ross, sister Dorothy Anderson, and brother Arnold and wife Beverly Ross. He was a Navy Seal Veteran, retired from Sandia National Labs, was a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge, a member of American Legion Post 44 at Elephant Butte, Albuquerque Civitans, Albuquerque Boat club and past comadore. He was involved with Thunderbird Little League for 13 years. Per Stephen's wishes cremation has taken place. Family will host a celebration of life potluck at American Legion Post 44, Elephant Butte N.M. March 7th, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
