EDWARDS, SANDRA L. Sandra ("Sandy") Leah Edwards, age 59, of Bosque Farms, NM, passed away January 6th, 2015, of pancreatic cancer. She was at home surrounded by her adoring family. Sandy was born May 10, 1955 to Melvin ("Lee") and Vonne Oyler of Bosque Farms. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Vonne Oyler; and daughter, Melanie Edwards. Sandy enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and crafting gifts for her family and friends. She also took great pride in and caring for others. Sandy was a loving mother, sister and friend. Most recently, Sandy was the general manager of the Goodlife Senior Living in Los Lunas for five years. Sandy is survived by her loving companion Porter ("Bud") Hunter; as well as her two devoted children, Melissa Edwards, husband Jason Jones; and Joshua Edwards, wife Kristin Edwards. She is further survived by her sister Stephanie Lamb, and brother-in-law Lester Lamb as well as extended family and friends. She leaves behind many special angels at the UNM Cancer Center and Goodlife Senior Living. A memorial service, with reception to follow, will be held at Calvary Chapel New Harvest, 701 Main Street NE, Suite A - Los Lunas, NM, on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 10a.m.
