ADAMS, BENJAMIN FOLGER Ben Folger Adams was born in Boston, MA on May 31, 1938. He relocated to Albuquerque over ten years ago and left us on December 13, 2014. He was predeceased by his father, Frederick Johnstone Adams of London, England and mother, Keith Folger Adams of Bronxville, New York. He leaves behind a brother, Father Tom Adams of Portsmouth Abbey, Portsmouth, Rhode Island and a throng of friends in New Mexico and Massachusetts. Ben attended Northeastern University, Columbia University and held a Master's degree from Cambridge College, Cambridge, MA. In Boston he worked as an alcohol counselor in detox centers, hospitals and prisons. He was a voracious reader and widely traveled. Ben spoke several languages. Ben, a loyal member and past manager of the Desert Club was a friend of Bill's for over 41 years. He helped many people trudge the road of happy destiny. His gentle spirit, wonderful sense of humor, quick wit and kind heart endeared him to all those he met. Ben was very loved and lives in the hearts of all of us who knew him. His ashes will be buried by his brother next spring in Annisquam,Massachusetts. A Celebration of Ben's life will be Saturday, January 17, 2015, 2:00 at Tech Love, 3901 Central Ave, Albuquerque, NM.
