STRAIN, MACON LOUISE Macon Louise Strain, age 77, born on June 7, 1937, passed away on December 11, 2014. She was a resident of Jemez Springs, Moriarty and Rio Rancho. Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Edward Strain. Ed and Louise raised three sons: Terry Strain of Lake Arthur, NM, Lonny Strain of Ponderosa, NM and Anthony and wife Wendy Strain of Los Alamos, NM. Louise made her home of twenty two years in Jemez Springs and in Moriarty for four years with the rest in Rio Rancho, NM. Louise was active for thirty or more years with the American Legion; was a Deacon and Elder of her church's, and very active in serving on the Session. A Navy wife for twenty-one years and active in many other groups and functions during her previous life time. She was a very proud grandmother and loved her family so dearly. Memorial Services will be held at the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church, Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the church at 1004 24th Street, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. The memorial contributions will be used for the Church's youth programs.
