HANEY, BETSY REGINA beloved daughter, sister, cherished aunt and unforgettable friend, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 20, 2014. Betsy was born December 3, 1948 in Cortez, CO. Betsy was born a farm girl but in her heart she was a big city girl. It didn't take her long to follow her heart and move to the big city. Betsy lived out many of her dreams, from seeing Elvis live in concert multiple times to working on Hee Haw in Nashville. Betsy resided in Los Angeles for over 30 years and enjoyed trips to Las Vegas every chance she got. Keno was her game of choice and we can all say she was one with the "casino gods". Betsy took much pride in caring for her mother these last seven years. Betsy and her mother Mary moved back to Albuquerque in March of 2013. Betsy left behind her beloved mother Mary; two brothers Roger and Marvin; niece and nephew Tessa and Ross; and many close family members and countless friends. Her beautiful appearance, big blonde hair, and unforgettable laugh and smile will be missed by all. We love you MORE. Services will be held on Saturday, December 13th at 1:00 pm at Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122
