SPITSEN, HAYDEN CLAIR Age 72, died November 17, 2014 at his home in Albuquerque, New Mexico from natural causes. Services will be held in Spring, 2015 in Omaha, Nebraska with family and close friends. Mr. Spitsen was born August 22, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska. Go Huskers! He served in the US Air Force at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs for four years. After his service he moved his family back to Omaha, Nebraska for three years. In 1967 they all moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he raised his two daughters. Mr. Spitsen worked many years for the United States Postal Service and ultimately retired from the Post Office at the age of 55. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and working on genealogy. He is survived by his mother Marjorie McFarland, two sisters, Michelle Scheuber and Jeanette Ervin one brother James Herman Spitsen, two daughters Angela Spitsen Rios and Lara Suzanne Spitsen King, four grand children, Justine, Michael, Sean and Jared, and one great granddaughter Mia Rose as well as some close friends who appreciated his candor and humor.
