RAY, TRAVIS Travis Alan Ray, age 26, died unexpectantly at home November 8, 2014. Travis left behind his heartbroken sister Mackenzie Ray and parents Daniel and Tracey Ray. Travis's big sister Tabitha was waiting to meet him on the other side. Travis was born August 30, 1988 in Albuquerque, NM. Travis was a free-spirit who loved his family and friends. He was a kind, loyal and gentle soul who smiled easily. He loved music and was an accomplished guitarist. Travis was a self-taught computer guru. He loved Taz, and the Ninja Turtles. Travis's recent goal was to study Addiction Counseling. He made his family laugh and we cannot be prouder to have had him by our side. Travis is survived by his pseudo-sisters Jillian Young, Jadyn McComb and Bridget Baker Ramos; pseudo-brother Brett Baker; his grandfather Paul McComb Jr. (who started the love of guitars and passed it down to Travis), grandmother Mary Ray; Aunts Twyla McComb, DeAnn Kauffman, Janis Kelton, Rosie McComb, Jessica Cayton, Melissa Damon, Michel Ray, Lorna Cannon and Monica Anderson; Uncles Roy McComb (who played guitars with him regularly), Mark McComb and Glen Ray; and too many cousins and friends to list. Travis was preceded in death by his beloved Granny Beverly McComb, Grandfather Charles Ray, his Aunt and second mom, Jamie Holt McComb and his very special cousin, who ALWAYS loved Travis best, Jody Young. There will be a celebration of Travis's life November 15, 2014 at Cremation Society, 1935 Juan Tabo N.E. Albuquerque. The celebration will begin at 10 am. Please wear your most comfortable clothes. Travis would have wanted it that way. "Cowabunga Dude."
