SPERO, MARY KATHERINE Age 92, long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She is survived by her three children, Joanne "Maria" Spero of Durango, CO; Tom Spero and wife Lonnie of Albuquerque; and Judy Traeger and husband Ric of Albuquerque; her two granddaughters, Kristin and Meiling Traeger; and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry Spero, and all of her seven siblings. Mary was a devoted and faith-filled mother, with a bright mind and quick wit. She is greatly missed. Her family is grateful for her love and that she is free from pain and reunited with her loved ones and her Lord. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
