KEY, JANE Jane Key, age 96, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014. She was born in Madison, Indiana, the oldest daughter of Leota and Wilburn Mickel. She was delivered by her grandfather, Dr. George Denny. She grew up in Indiana and moved to Albuquerque in 1949 with her husband, Perry Key. Jane and her husband Perry were married for 76 years, and in all that time, they were rarely apart. They were long-time members of Trinity Methodist Church, as well as Life Members of the National and Chaparral Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association. Together, with their family and friends, they traveled more than 150,000 miles in their motorhome, all over the United States. They visited every state except for Hawaii and Minnesota. Jane was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by her husband, Perry; and her four children: Perry Key and his wife, Connie, Paulette Allen and her husband, Jim, Sally Cawley and her husband, Paul, and Denny Key and his wife, Carol. She is also survived by one sister, Emy Lou Whalen; one brother, Joe Mickel; seven grandchildren; and ten great- grandchildren. Jane was a wonderful, quiet woman and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - University, with visitation one hour prior from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the Animal Humane Society.
