REID, EDNA PEARL (HICKMAN) Age 69, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014. Her laugh was infectious. Her smile made us all smile in return. She always had a story for you. We called her the FBI because she would question strangers and get their life story while standing in line at the grocery store. She didn't have much, but she loved everyone and everything around her. She loved us completely and always let us know it. The best mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend anyone could ask for. She was born in Las Vegas, NM to Bill and Helen Reid. She grew up in Santa Fe and eventually moved to Espanola. She is survived by her children Timothy (Leslie) Hickman, Carlton (Elaine) Hickman, Marjorie (Mike) O'Neill, Adam Hickman, Ira Hickman, Jolene (Russell) Herring, Julie Hickman, Donna White; the Gonzales clan; sisters Jean (Jack) Jones, Joan Reid, Violet (Larry) Brogden, Pat (John) Glass; 17 grandchildren; her nine great-grand children; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children, Randy Hickman and Suzy Hickman; her parents; and siblings John, Margaret Alta, Stella, Bill and Mary. She will be missed and loved forever. Services for her will be at family graveyard in Glorieta with a celebration of her life to follow at 3656 Mimbres Lane in Santa Fe.
