PELZMAN, BRENDA SUE passed away peacefully at home and went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 25, 2014 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer for over three years. She was born in Pensacola, Florida on May, 13, 1959. She is survived by her husband, Philip and their two sons Charles and Avery; mother & father, Marjorie and Noel Keller; her sister Traci and her husband Mike Eberle; twin brothers, Duane Keller & Kevin Keller and his wife Julie; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, she spent 15 years in retail display and merchandising with Mervyns, raised two sons and spent the last nine years as a teacher aide for preschoolers and kindergarteners at Christ Lutheran School. Brenda was blessed with artistic abilities which she put to use in making church banners, crafts and homemaking. Brenda was fun-loving, friendly and kind, but was not one to take what she considered her personal obligations lightly. She gave selflessly of her time to church, family, work, and friends putting others ahead of herself, even during her illness and her teaching touched the lives of hundreds of kids. She will truly be missed. A service of Praise and Thanksgiving will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 7701 Candelaria Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Christ Lutheran School Library.
