FRANCE, AGNES H. France, Agnes Henrietta Kudrna, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2014 at the age of 93. Agnes was born in Omaha, Nebraska on December 7, 1920. She was born, raised and a lifetime member of the Roman Catholic Church. Anges was preceded in death by her Father, Ernest Kudrna of Austria, and her Mother, Rose Smolinski Kudrna of Poland. Agnes is survived by her one and only beloved husband of 57 years, George A. France, Jr. Agnes graduated from Boyles College in Omaha in 1939. She enlisted in the U.S. Naval Service - Coast Guard in 1944, she completed Yeoman School and attended the Cleveland College of Psychology. Agnes served as a Yeoman First Class in the U.S. Coast Guard as a stenographer under the D.O.T. Agnes received her Honorable Discharge in June 1946. She continued her career with the U.S. Army, 7th Command in Omaha, Nebraska and the U.S. Air Force, Benjamin Harrison AFB, Indiana. Agnes was very gifted and talented with handcrafts and art; she loved oil painting pictures of nature, flowers and many of their dearly loved pets. Agnes will be missed by many people in our community but she would definitely say, "Carry on" Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services-Carlisle Chapel, 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque followed by a funeral service at 3:00pm.
