TARTER, MARGARET "HONEY" Margaret "Honey" Tarter (94) died peacefully on Sunday, May 4, 2014. She was born in Mattoon, Wisconsin on July 29, 1919, and was raised in Antigo. She moved to Albuquerque in 1946 with her parents Oscar and Helen Baures. She married William "Lee" Tarter in October, 1947. They raised two children: Mary Helen and Bill. Honey was very active in the Beta Sigma Phi and Fatima Parish. She was a beloved wife, wonderful mom, delightful aunt, and good friend. She enjoyed a deep, quiet faith and had a joyous giggle. Her last home of 18 years was at La Vida LLena where she enjoyed many friends among the staff and residents. She is survived by her son Bill and was predeceased by her daughter (1975) and husband (2006). All remember her as quiet, gentle, and kind. A celebration of her life will be held in the Chapel at La Vida Llena on Saturday, May 11th at 10:00am.
