SNYDER, EDWARD P. SR. passed away unexpectedly on April 21, 2014. Ed was born in New Jersey, and was a long time resident of Albuquerque. He graduated from the University of New Mexico and considered Albuquerque his home. Edward served his country for eight years as an officer in the NM Air National Guard. He was a lifelong fan of the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football team, sharing his love of football and the Irish with his sons. Ed is survived by sons Edward and Brendan Snyder; grandchildren Cayden and Scarlett Snyder; mother Mary Illing; sister Terry Harper; and brother Christian Snyder. He was preceded in death by his father Edwin E. Snyder. The Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Pope John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, also at Pope John XXIII.
